I was in San Francisco at the end of April 2010 in time for my first U.S WordCamp.

Here are some of the photos I took at the time some of them were posted on a NZ wordcamp site which has since been archived. I cycled over the Golden Gate Bridge to Sausalito and then to Tiburon. This was a bit like being able to cycle to Waiheke in NZ terms. We then caught the ferry back from Tiburon.

I loved all the art galleries in San Francisco and especially the MOMA where I spent quite a lot of time. I also met up with Sean Gourley who is a NZ expat based there. Sean was a TED fellow in 2009. We later invited Sean to talk at TEDxAuckland in 2012
