Twitter has been around for a long time now. I forgot about Vizify but they are back with this little video bio compile tool. Increasingly social media will use video.

Rebelmouse auto compiles a series of my selected feeds into a page over here. It looked better before I deleted my instagram account after FB made those foolish announcements on image ownership. I much prefer Pinterest anyway.
I have tried out Vine the twitter video tool but have yet to see anything really come out of that yet.
After about 5 years of social media I still prefer twitter to all of the others.

Twitter is a truly global series of communities of interest.
There is a recurring idea that comes through along the idea of “twitter helps me be friends with people I’ve never met while Facebook makes me Not want to be friends with people I’ve known in real life”.
